What is Journalism?

Journalism is a way of presenting news to the press through various methods, such as: newspapers, podcasts, interviews, social media and more. It's considered to be a creative field as journalists need to have the right topic and headline to capture the attention. Journalists also need to be accurate in their sayings, and independent, to be free from conflicts on intriguing topics.

Journalists usually do activities such as researching, documenting, interviewing, visiting locations, sharing stories, making stuff.

Researching:

In journalism, there is various of methods to research information. The most popular ones are interviews and internet research. Typically, journalists need to research to not give the press fake information.

Documenting:

The process of documenting is recording, gathering and fact checking information to make independent and true news. Journalist needs to always be near the places where news could appear to capture and publish one of the first news with valid representation of them.

Interviewing:

One of the biggest activities journalist has to do is interview people. This is important as most journalists don't actually see all of the news live and need to interview people who witnessed it, as it will not only give a journalist more information but also journalist can then write an article with right knowledge about the case.

Visiting Locations:

For journalist, it's important to visit locations where cases happened to get a better perspective of them. This not only helps with writing an article but also helps with providing good understanding of the place which will make an article seem more engaging.

Sharing Stories:

By sharing stories through internet, social media, newspapers and more, it helps the press understand what is going on in different places on Earth. Journalist's job is to make news known and be spread to most of people.

Making Stuff:

In this century, people are more drown to what they hear and see. Journalist needs to make not only a good article but also have good pictures, audios and videos to capture audience's eyes.
